Ford Transit Team Directory: Driving the Future of Landscaping

When Ford Ireland contacted me to say I had been selected for the Ford Transit Team Directory, it was something I was genuinely proud of. To be recognised alongside some of Ireland’s best tradespeople is a real honour, especially representing the landscaping industry.

For me, this wasn’t just about receiving the keys to a van. It was about being recognised for the work our team does every day, the standards we set, and the communities we’re proud to be part of.

More Than Just a Vehicle

The Ford Transit has been a trusted name in Irish trades for decades, and after spending time behind the wheel of the fully electric Ford E-Transit, it’s easy to see why Ford continues to lead the way.

Like many contractors, I wondered whether an electric van could genuinely handle the demands of a busy landscaping business.

The answer surprised me.

The E-Transit is smooth, quiet, comfortable and packed with technology that makes long working days easier. Whether it’s travelling between projects across Wicklow and Dublin, carrying tools and equipment, or navigating busy urban areas, it performs exceptionally well.

Ford hasn’t simply built an electric version of a Transit—they’ve built a commercial vehicle that feels ready for the future.

As our industry continues to evolve, reducing emissions without compromising on performance is becoming increasingly important, and it’s encouraging to see manufacturers like Ford Ireland investing in practical solutions that work for tradespeople.

Being selected for the Ford Transit Team Directory has been one of the highlights of my career so far.
