Full Garden Transformation in Ashford – Garden Room & Pergola Installation

We recently completed a full garden transformation in Ashford for Sean and Emma, delivering a bespoke outdoor space featuring a custom-built garden room, pergola, raised planters, and integrated lighting.

This project was designed to maximise both style and functionality, transforming an underused garden into a modern outdoor living area that can be enjoyed throughout the year.

Garden Design & Landscaping in Ashford

The garden was carefully planned to create clean lines, symmetry, and strong visual flow. A curved stepping-stone pathway leads across a freshly laid lawn, drawing the eye toward the pergola and garden room.

We installed rendered raised planters along both boundaries, planted with pleached trees to provide privacy and structure while maintaining a modern aesthetic. This combination creates a low-maintenance garden with an instant mature feel.

Pergola Construction with Integrated Lighting

A key feature of this Ashford garden project is the bespoke timber pergola, complete with a polycarbonate roof to allow natural light while providing shelter from the elements.

Horizontal timber slatted walls add warmth and contrast, while integrated outdoor lighting ensures the space is usable and inviting in the evenings. Composite decking was installed for durability, safety, and a sleek, contemporary finish.

Custom Garden Room Installation

The garden room installation adds valuable extra living space to the property. Finished in a modern rendered exterior with high-quality doors and windows, it’s ideal for use as a home office, gym, or relaxation space.

External lighting ties the garden room seamlessly into the surrounding landscape design, creating a cohesive and well-balanced garden layout.

Lighting was a major focus throughout the project. Uplighting within the raised planters, pergola wall lights, and garden room lighting bring the garden to life after dark while enhancing safety and atmosphere.

The project was completed with a newly laid lawn, providing a fresh green backdrop that contrasts perfectly with the hard landscaping elements.
