THE DIY SOS TALLAGHT REVEAL

Last night’s DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland episode on RTÉ One brought the nation to tears — and pride. The Tallaght project, led by Baz Ashmawy and his incredible team, showcased not just the transformation of a home, but the unstoppable power of community spirit.

For Eden Landscaping, it was an honour to see our team’s work come to life on screen — a proud reminder of what can happen when people and businesses unite for a cause that truly matters.

A Transformation That Touched the Nation

As viewers tuned in across Ireland, they witnessed an emotional journey for Cayden and his family, whose home was rebuilt and redesigned in just nine days by over 90 volunteers from every corner of the construction and landscaping industry.

The moment the family walked into their finished home — and then stepped into their new garden — was unforgettable. The joy, relief, and gratitude radiated from every frame.

Outside, the garden stood as a symbol of peace, safety, and connection — designed by Rónán MacDiarmada & Associates (RMDA) and built by Eden Landscaping with care, creativity, and collaboration.

Building Together: Ireland’s Finest at Work

The Tallaght build brought together a dream team of Ireland’s best-known suppliers, contractors, and trades. Every person and company gave their time, tools, and expertise selflessly — and it showed.

We’re proud to have worked alongside:
•    Chadwicks Ireland, led by Justin, providing essential materials and constant on-site support.
•    Celuplast, with David offering expert insight that made a real difference.
•    Roadstone Ltd. and Ashbourne Paving Ltd., with Arthur and his team delivering the highest-quality aggregates and paving.
•    Vision Contracting Ltd., Allstone Ltd., and Hilti Ireland, each playing vital roles in keeping the project moving smoothly.
•    Tradespeople and volunteers including Trevor, Dermot, and dozens more who gave everything they had to the cause.

And of course, none of it would have been possible without Baz Ashmawy, the DIY SOS Ireland team, Rónán MacDiarmada, and RTÉ, who continue to shine a spotlight on what makes Irish communities special.

Eden Landscaping’s Touch

From start to finish, our team poured heart and precision into creating a garden that would be both beautiful and functional — a safe and restorative space for Cayden and his family to enjoy for years to come.

Every pathway, plant, and paving stone was chosen with purpose, blending accessibility with calmness and connection. Seeing the finished garden on screen, complete with the family’s smiles, was a career-defining moment for us.

More Than Just a Build

DIY SOS Ireland isn’t just about construction — it’s about compassion. It’s about tradespeople, suppliers, and neighbours stepping up for families who need support.

Being part of this project reaffirmed everything we believe in at Eden Landscaping — that outdoor spaces can change lives, and that community collaboration can make the impossible possible.
